Craftsmanship & Materials
Every Papillon is handcrafted in Nicoline's workshop in Puglia, southern Italy. The frame is built from kiln-dried solid wood and multi-layered plywood for structural integrity. Seat cushions use differentiated-density polyurethane foam — firmer at the base for support, softer on top for comfort — often combined with a feather-blend top layer for that sink-in feel. All internal components meet European quality and safety standards.
Upholstery Options
Choose from Nicoline's extensive collection of coverings: soft-touch fabrics, textured weaves, premium full-grain leathers, and nubuck finishes. Each material is carefully selected for durability and tactile quality. Feet and metal details can also be customized to match your interior — options include brushed steel, painted metal, and solid wood in various finishes.
