Nicoline Cortina Plain Italian Leather Sofa
The Cortina Plain sofa is a timeless embodiment of elegance, thanks to its simplicity and sophistication. Characterized by clean lines and a light structure, it presents itself as an understated and versatile solution for lovers of classic style. Its essentiality perfectly complements the Tufted line, creating a fascinating interplay of quilting and lines that adds dynamism to the room. With options of linear sofas, corner compositions, and chaises lounges, the Cortina Plain develops elegantly in the space, creating harmonious shapes and a welcoming atmosphere.
Part of Nicoline's Philosophy Collection, which offers flexible, modular designs with unexpected poetic connotations — where form meets function in a distinctly Italian way.
Craftsmanship & Materials
Every Cortina Plain is handcrafted in Nicoline's workshop in Puglia, southern Italy. The frame is built from kiln-dried solid wood and multi-layered plywood for structural integrity. Seat cushions use differentiated-density polyurethane foam — firmer at the base for support, softer on top for comfort — often combined with a feather-blend top layer for that sink-in feel. All internal components meet European quality and safety standards.
Upholstery Options
Choose from Nicoline's extensive collection of coverings: soft-touch fabrics, textured weaves, premium full-grain leathers, and nubuck finishes. Each material is carefully selected for durability and tactile quality. Feet and metal details can also be customized to match your interior — options include brushed steel, painted metal, and solid wood in various finishes.
