PH 1/1 Piano Table Lamp Limited Edition 2026
Poul Henningsen's original PH Piano Lamp of 1931 was one of his most inventive designs β a curved, movable stem with a globular counterweight, giving flexible yet stable light for playing the piano. For 2026 it returns, respectfully downscaled true to scale so it works as a table lamp in a contemporary interior.
This limited edition pairs PH 1/1 four-layered, mouth-blown glass shades in dusty terracotta with a frame in lacquered, aged brass. Each shade is sandblasted matte white on the inside, so the light stays soft, diffused and glare-free with a warm, tranquil glow. Because every shade is mouth-blown by hand, colour and structure vary slightly from piece to piece.
The counterweight is both sculptural and functional, letting the head be adjusted forward and back to direct light where it is needed. Poul Henningsen's initials are engraved on the switch housing.
