The AJ Royal--originally available in light grey, dark brown, and black--was part of Arne Jacobsen's design concept for the SAS Royal Hotel in 1957, and features the geometrical shapes the world-famous Danish architect is known for. Today, the AJ Royal is available in white & two sizes while a smaller variant is introduced in 2020 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the hotel's opening. It provides even, downward light and softened, upward light to create ambience.

Light concept
The pendant comes in three sizes and is characterised by the ridges on top that allow a gentle light to exude upwards. The new, energy-saving LED version comes with a diffuser, which offers a smoother, 100% glare-free lighting.
