VL45 RADIOHUS Pendant Lamp
Vilhelm Lauritzen's 1930s functionalist classic
Designed in the late 1930s by Vilhelm Lauritzen for the Danish Broadcasting House (Radiohuset) in Copenhagen, the VL 45 Radiohus is a quiet masterpiece of Danish functionalism. The glossy mouth-blown opal globe sits inside a brushed brass collar β a design language that reads as both modern and timeless seventy-plus years later.
Light concept
The mouth-blown opal glass shade diffuses the bulb evenly in all directions, while the brass collar adds a warm reflective edge. Equally at home over a dining table or in a corridor.
