The NJP for the floor, by Oki Sato (nendo)

The NJP Floor extends Oki Sato's 2015 NJP task-lamp language to free-standing form. The same precisely articulated arm and rotatable shade, now stationed on a slim cylindrical base — designed to slot beside a reading chair or sofa without dominating the room.

Light concept
Integrated, dimmable LED at the head. The arm articulates and rotates so the light cone can be aimed precisely — task light for reading, accent light for ambient use.

• Arm, joints & head: Aluminium and steel, powder-coated.
• Base: Steel, weighted for stability.
