This Japanese-made small sculptural side table is about the beam holding the tabletop and the details created by the cut line and footboard. This is a small jewel of craftsmanship showing the quality of Ariake artisans.

Designer Staffan Holm wanted to take the attention to the details we usually do not notice – the table’s base that was inspired by a T-beam used in construction. According to Holm, a good product, including the less visible parts of it, have been designed and crafted with care and pride.
